    Saturday, May 4 2002
     Li Ming and I took pair in a wilderness survival program yesterday, and it has been one of the most unforgettable experiences since high school.
     At the beginning of our way to the campsite. I told him “I only bring a tent and a compass.” “It doesn’t matter, I’m not only have some food and cloths but also a, knife a flashlight, a map a, first-aid kit and some candles.” said Li Ming. At noon, the two of us climbed over a hill and reached a river. But there was no boat. It was only a piece of wood. So we have to put our bay on the wood and jumped into the, pushed the wood to across the river. We were succeed. But soon we were in trouble again, because we had lost in a forest. Luckily, I was brought a compass, and knew that was the time to use it. Finally we found out way out. When we reached the campsite, it’s nearly nine. We lighted the fire and put up the tent immediately. The two of us spent the night in the forest.
     We learned to use knowledge gained in classroom training to solve problems. It was quite an experience for us both, which I’ll never forget for the rest of my life.
