I: Why do you want to apply the position of accountant in our company?
C: I have always been interesting in working with figures. And I think I can find out more challenges in a company like yours.
I: I see you had been working for Telecom for two years. Did your job involve any bookkeeping?
C: Yes, I had many experience there in bookkeeping. Also I did a course in the Polytechnic in bookkeeping. It was one of the curriculums.
I: What about your other activities when you were a student?
C: I was responsible for the edition of the student newspaper. And one of my hobbies was distant running.
I: Well, you seem to be the right man we're looking for. What problems do you think you might find with the job?
C: Not very many, I hope. I have confidence to be a good accountant.
“场外指导”，错误纠正
I: Why do you want to apply① the position of accountant in our company?
（申请某一职位要用apply for the position，介词for不能省略。）
C: I have always been interesting② in working with figures. And I think I can find out③ more challenges in a company like yours.
（过去分词式的形容词才能表示人物的心理，所以interesting应改为interested；表示某一环境或工作富有挑战性，能使自己从中学得新知、得到磨炼应当说discover more challenges in...，而不能用find out。find out的意思是“找出、翻出、搜出”。）
I: I see you had④ been working for Telecom for two years. Did your job involve any bookkeeping?
（此处属语法错误，对话中主句是现在时，从句应当用现在完成时，而不宜用过去完成时。把had改为have。）
C: Yes, I had many⑤ experience there in bookkeeping. Also I did a course in the Polytechnic in bookkeeping. It was one of the curriculums.⑥
（experience作“经验”解时是不可数名词，不能用many修饰，要改为a lot of；curriculums本身就是集合名词，指大学中的一系列课程，所以对话中错误之处应当改正为one of the subjects on the curriculums.）
I: What about your other activities when you were a student?
C: I was responsible for the edition⑦ of the student newspaper. And one of my hobbies was distant⑧ running.
(负责报纸杂志等的编辑工作，应当用editing，edition的意思是指编辑的某一版；体育运动中的“长跑”是distance running，而非distant running.)
I: Well, you seem to be the right⑨ man we're looking for. What problems do you think you might find with the job?
(表示“你就是我们要找的人......”直接用you are the man we're looking for即可，再加上right是多余的，这是中式英语中想当然的强调式，要避免。此句还可改为you seem to be the right man for the job.)
C: Not very many, I hope. I have confidence to be⑩ a good accountant.
(错误之处应当改为...I have confidence that I can be a good...,因为confidence是抽象名词，confident是形容词，此句还可改为I am confident to be a good....)
